Ready or Not: Teacher Leadership

Teachers today often take on extra leadership responsibilities in addition to their teaching duties, thus changing the role of and relationships between teachers, administrators, and support staff. This presentation will provide an overview of teacher leadership and the dynamic between leaders and followers within a school community.

When South Christian acquired its current property, a group of us worked to bring a disc golf course to the school grounds. This session will chronicle our journey, offer advice and ideas regarding design, and then (if the weather cooperates) spend time on the course playing and explaining the choices we made.
