In this sectional we will discuss how to plan and lead quality worship in our Christian Schools, both in our classrooms (devotions) and corporately (chapel). We will present on how we can best share ideas in a consistent and beneficial manner among all of those responsible for leading and planning at their respective schools. One such way is WICS. The goal of WICS, Worship in Christian Schools, is to promote collaboration among worship leaders in our Christian Schools and foster discussions on the role of worship. We host a yearly conference, publish a newsletter, and host a google drive, where worship leaders can share ideas.
The session will ask that each participant bring an elementary music lesson to share. Ideas about classroom set-up and/or classroom resources, songs, movement, classroom routines, lesson outlines etc. are all welcomed and encouraged as we bring, share and take home one another's ideas.
